Towards Light

As he walked out of hell

Out of the dark night of the soul 

He walked towards the light 

And his shadows became clearer 

He could see all that was broken within him

He saw the beauty of the shadow 

He saw the value of the broken 

The gifts they carried 

The light they helped him discovered 

He walked gently 

He walked slowly 

The shadows and brokenness integrated 

The demons tamed 

Sleeping by the door 

Snoozing 

The phases of hell and purgatory were nearly over 

The journey to heaven had begun…..
